I am so honored to be teaching at the nationally renowned New England Institute of Professional Photography in April. Education is critical and each year we attend the New England Institute of Professional Photography to study with some of the great photographers in the United States.  This week is one of the post important to us here at Peeples Photography , because it allows us to get away, de-stress, and formulate new ideas a foster the relationships within our New England photography family.  This was my first year as a Trustee. I’m humbled and excited to have been chosen for the role. Taste for a Cure - Cystic FibrosisFour years ago I was asked my another photographer to cover a charity event in Manchester New Hampshire called “Taste for a Cure” the event supports research for curing Cystic Fibrosis.  It was at that event that first meant a young lady name Rosie!  Many young children have a hard time saying “Cystic Fibrosis” and when asked why there sick the respond  “I have 65 Roses”, just by chance Rosie has Cystic Fibrosis.   I have photographed this event now for three years and plan to continue that into the future.  This years “taste” was held on Thursday April 7th 2016 and it ...

Boudoir Empowers We had the opportunity to photograph a boudoir session with one of our brides from a few years ago.  Like many young ladies, she did not feel as attractive as she did before children.  We encourage boudoir as a way to help improve self-esteem.   After capturing her wedding, maternity and baby images we were able to make some truly stunning and sophisticated images showing off her true beauty and slightly devilish sexy side.   When we finished with the session and reviewed the images, she was stunned by how empowered the whole process had made her feel.   Every woman should pamper herself now and then, boudoir is a great way to do ...

Teaching and Sharing at PPAM January 23, 2017I had a great opportunity to spend the day in Natick Massachusetts with 40 members of the Professional Photographers Association of Massachusetts (PPAM).   I was asked to speak and did a hybrid program combining the Hitch Hiker's Guide to Web and Social Media for the photographer in the morning.   After lunch we moved into a introduction on being a "maker" and everyone that wanted made a strip light modifier for a speed light.  I believe everyone had a good time and the feedback has all been positive.   I am working on my Professional Photographers of American, Photographic Craftsman (Cr.Photog.).  Awarded in recognition ...
